What does the day look like?
This is not shift work — you usually work standard business hours, and remote roles expect overlap with the employer's timezone (US Eastern, GMT, or CET). Roughly 30–40% of the day is the part people imagine: emails, segments, automation logic, and A/B tests. Another 40–50% is data cleaning, imports and exports, deduplicating contacts, reporting, internal support, and meetings. The remaining 10–20% is integration troubleshooting and documentation.
On HubSpot you configure properties, lifecycle stages, workflows, and forms; train sales and marketing users; and monitor campaign performance. On the Klaviyo side (e-commerce) you build audience segments, email/SMS flows, and A/B-test subject lines and body copy. Tools named in postings include HubSpot, Klaviyo, Excel/Google Sheets, Google Analytics, sometimes Salesforce/Zoho, Zapier/Make, and Shopify in e-commerce teams. Black Friday-style launches can mean evening work; there is no licence-linked on-call pattern.
