What does the day look like?
Only about 15% of the day is spent on the visible side of the job, such as interviewing international teachers, planning new courses, or attending student graduations. The remaining 85% consists of routine operations: 30% goes to tracking sales funnels, monitoring student renewals on HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or AlfaCRM, and managing discount tiers. Another 25% is spent handling teacher sick leave, finding substitutes within 30 minutes, resolving parent complaints, and managing appraisals. Facility operations, landlord communications, interactive whiteboard maintenance, and 1C:Predpriyatiye or QuickBooks tracking take 15%, while regulatory compliance, fire safety, and quality audit preparation take the final 15%.
Workweeks typically run from 45 to 55 hours. Peak operational hours coincide with when students attend classes, specifically weekday evenings from 16:00 to 21:00 and weekends from 09:00 to 18:00. You remain on call for building emergencies, sudden teacher absences, and urgent customer escalations.
