What does the day look like?
Your day is intake interviews, diet histories, height and weight checks, body measurements, meal-plan drafting, food-diary review, follow-up check-ins, group talks and record keeping. You work in Nutrium, Nutritionist Pro, NutriBase, DietMaster, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Google Drive, with video calls for remote check-ins and social apps to find clients. In gym practice you use weighing scales, stadiometers, tape measures, skinfold calipers and bioimpedance scales, plus blood-test reports clients send you.
The visible part — meal plans and training tips — is the smaller share of time in freelance fitness practice. The larger share is marketing, content production, messaging, scheduling, payment chasing and admin. Hours follow gym and client schedules, with early mornings, evenings and weekends common. There is no hospital night shift or on-call rota in this coach segment.
