What does the day look like?
The schedule is a standard 40-hour office week, typically running Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00. There are no night shifts or on-call rotations, with overtime occurring only occasionally during annual performance reviews or mass onboarding cycles. About 40% of the day is spent on onboarding paperwork, drafting employment contracts, uploading IDs and tax certificates, updating employee details in HR software, and processing termination files. Depending on the employer, this involves tools like my.mehnat.uz (YAMMT portal) and 1C: ZUP in Uzbekistan, or Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, BambooHR, Personio, and DocuSign internationally.
Around 25% of the day goes to answering routine employee inquiries regarding annual leave balances, sick leave verification, insurance cards, and employment letters. The remaining time is divided between recruitment coordination (20%) — formatting job postings, sending calendar invites to candidates, and scheduling rooms using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel — and office record-keeping (15%), which includes scanning signed contracts, sorting physical archive files, and issuing office badges.
