What does the day look like?
Around 50% of your working week is spent on routine administration, compliance, and HRIS updates. You draft offer letters, employment contracts, and NDAs, log sick leave and statutory benefits, and submit filings to labor registries. You also compile monthly payroll data, timesheets, and bonuses for accounting or payroll bureaus using platforms like BambooHR, Workday, HiBob, Personio, Deel, Rippling, Gusto, or 1C: ZUP.
About 25% of your time goes to operational recruitment, including writing job adverts, screening resumes, running initial phone screens, and scheduling interviews via ATS platforms like Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, or HeadHunter. The remaining 25% involves onboarding, employee relations, and mediating workplace disputes. You work standard office hours of 38 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 09:00 to 18:00, with no shift work, though occasional overtime occurs during payroll audits or performance review cycles.
