What does the day look like?
About 15% of your day is spent hosting welcome video calls, walking new hires through company handbooks, and scheduling manager check-ins. The remaining 85% is repetitive administrative work: collecting and auditing passports, tax forms, bank details, right-to-work documents, background checks, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
You will spend your hours provisioning accounts in HRIS platforms like Workday, BambooHR, Deel, and Rippling, coordinating laptop shipments with IT, setting up permissions, and tracking progress in Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or Notion. Standard hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Working remotely from Uzbekistan for a US employer shifts your hours to 17:00–01:00 or 18:00–02:00 Tashkent time, while European roles run from 13:00 to 21:00.
