What does the day look like?
As a marketing content editor you usually work standard office hours; shifts or night work only appear in newsrooms or global support teams, not in typical marketing content roles. Roughly 40–55% of the day goes to writing and editing: articles, landing pages, product copy, email newsletters; tightening headlines and intros; applying house style. Another 20–30% is CMS work in WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot, Contentful or a company CMS — formatting, internal links, meta descriptions, alt text. SEO and metadata (Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console) take 10–20% in some roles; many Uzbek listings also bundle SMM and video. The rest is coordination in Google Docs/Notion, briefing freelancers, chasing approvals, stand-ups. The part you imagine — writing a blog post — is often less than half; style guides, CMS fiddling, revision rounds, keyword tables and stakeholder rewrites fill the rest.
