What does the day look like?
Your week usually runs Monday to Friday, office or home office, standard business hours — SaaS inside sales rarely involves shift work or on-call duty. Most of the day goes to outbound prospecting: researching prospects, cold calls and emails, follow-ups, and CRM admin in platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics, plus LinkedIn, Zoom or Teams, and spreadsheets. Live customer meetings happen, but fewer than an Account Executive handles — rejection and dead air are normal. The visible part is conversations and presentations; the bulk is research, logging, and pipeline hygiene.
