What does the day look like?
Between 50% and 60% of your day is spent processing primary documents: entering supplier invoices, matching purchase orders against delivery notes, checking tax IDs, and posting debits and credits. Another 20% to 25% goes toward daily bank reconciliations and tracking unpaid customer invoices. The remaining 15% to 20% involves maintaining files, pulling records for audits or tax checks, and preparing timesheets for payroll.
Working hours are standard: 40 hours per week, usually Monday through Friday from 09:00 to 18:00. There is no night work or shift work. Overtime pressure peaks during month-end closes, quarter-end tax filings, and annual financial reporting periods between January and March. Daily tools include 1C:Enterprise in Uzbekistan, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage 50, SAP, or DATEV abroad, alongside extensive use of Microsoft Excel.
