What does the day look like?
A standard work week runs Monday through Friday, 09:00 to 18:00 (40 hours per week). There are no night shifts or on-call emergencies, but during month-end closing and annual tax deadlines, overtime reaches 50 to 65 hours per week.
Around 70% of the daily routine consists of transactional tasks: reconciling bank feeds, posting journal entries, matching vendor invoices, and correcting entry errors. While 1C:Enterprise is the standard software in Uzbekistan, international teams rely on SAP ERP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, QuickBooks Online, Xero, and advanced Microsoft Excel. Around 20% of monthly time is spent calculating VAT, payroll taxes, and corporate returns for government portals such as my.soliq.uz in Uzbekistan, HMRC in the UK, or Elster in Germany.
