What does the day look like?
On a multi-day international tour you meet the group, run coach or transfer logistics, handle hotel check-ins, give timed commentary at sites, manage optional excursions and cash, coordinate vendors, run safety briefings, and solve problems like lost documents or illness. Evening and night shifts are common at resorts and on cruises. Intrepid-style tours can run up to four weeks with long walking days.
Roughly half to two-thirds of the day is guest-facing guiding, commentary, and walking; the rest is logistics, admin, supplier calls, money, and paperwork. TUI roles use varied day, evening, and weekend shifts. Named tools include Microsoft Office, email, and Excel; cruise listings mention Fidelio Cruise System; TUI references on-coach guest technology.
