What does the day look like?
You spend the day inside Zendesk Support, Intercom Inbox, Freshdesk, LiveChat, Salesforce Service Cloud or Gorgias: you greet inbound users, find the order or account problem in an admin panel, adapt a canned macro with the account details, escalate software bugs to engineering through an internal tracker, process refunds or cancellations by the rulebook, and log the resolution code. About 50% to 60% of the day is live writing in 2 to 4 parallel chats, 20% to 25% is CRM notes, tagging and escalations, 10% to 15% is reading knowledge base articles and asking seniors in team chat, and 5% to 10% is standups, handovers and QA reviews. Internal talk runs on Slack, Microsoft Teams, Confluence, Notion and Google Workspace, logins sit in 1Password, and time is tracked in Hubstaff, Time Doctor or Assembled.
Coverage is 24/7, the standard shift is 8 hours, with 12 hour rotating patterns at some employers. Covering the United States or Europe from Tashkent often means nights such as 00:00 to 08:00, rotating weekends and work on Uzbek public holidays, with schedule adherence tracked to the minute. The targets are First Response Time under 60 seconds, Average Handle Time of 8 to 12 minutes, Customer Satisfaction Score of 90% or higher, and 2 to 4 demanding users at once without typing, factual or policy errors.
