What does the day look like?
You start by reading a client or marketing brief, then build layouts and visual systems for a campaign. About 40–55% of the day is hands-on work in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign — print-ready files, colour, bleed, preflight. Figma handles marketing systems; After Effects or Premiere covers motion and social content. CorelDRAW still shows up in Uzbek print shops.
Roughly 25–35% goes to meetings, briefs, revisions, and feedback from stakeholders. Another 10–20% is production coordination, asset libraries, quality checks, and reviewing junior designers' work. Shift work and on-call nights are not normal — only deadline crunches or launch weekends can mean extended hours.
